The installation of a Weigh-in-Motion system on U.S. 31 in Argos will result in lane restrictions beginning Monday, April 6 through Wednesday, April 8.
According to the Indiana Department of Transportation, on April 6, northbound and southbound traffic can travel on the outside lanes of U.S. 31 between mile marker 216 and mile marker 218. On April 7, northbound and southbound traffic will travel on the inside lanes during that same stretch of road.
The project is expected to be complete on April 8, depending on the weather. INDOT officials say the project installation is sensitive to both temperature and moisture which could result in delays.
Drivers should slow down and remove distractions when traveling during this work zone.
