The Culver Community School Board reviewed bus bids when they met Monday night.
Transportation Director Paul Widman said bids came in from Bluebird, Thomas, and IC Collins to replace three buses.
The 66-passenger bus bid from IC Collins came in at about $103,000 while Thomas was close to $108,000 and Bluebird near $110,000.
Bids for a bus with a wheelchair lift by Bluebird at nearly $128,000, Thomas at about $121,000, and IC Collins at $119,000.
Widman made the recommendation to go with IC Collins. He noted that particular brand of bus would match the rest of the corporation’s fleet of buses.
He also noted that the corporation will be getting $3,500 in the trade-in value of the buses which is $1,500 more than was offered in last year’s bus replacement.
The Culver School Board members approved the recommended bid from IC Collins for the 66-passenger buses and the bus with the wheelchair lift.
