While there have no confirmed COVID-19 cases in Marshall County, the Argos Community School Corporation will close school until April 3 to keep students and staff safe.
Superintendent Ned Speicher stated that after consulting with the Marshall County school districts and the Marshall County Health Department, the school will close beginning Monday, March 16.
Speicher said classified and certified staff will go to school on Monday, March 16 to work toward implementing the plan for eLearning beginning on Tuesday, March 17 through Friday, March 20. Spring Break will now run from Monday, March 23 through Friday, April 3. At this time, students will return to school on April 6, but more information will be released on the status of school by April 3.
Corporation officials will continue to work with the State and Local Health Departments to determine the best time to resume regular classroom activities.
