Bremen Park Superintendent Brian Main told the Bremen Town Council members last week that work continues on the Jaycee Building in Sunnyside Park.
He said the restroom facilities are being torn out to be replaced with new, expanded restrooms. Main previously told the town council members that they will be ADA accessible. The new construction is expected to take place soon.
He said the initial cost estimate was around $13,000. German Township agreed to contribute $3,000 toward the project.
In another ongoing project, Main said the concession stand at the girl’s softball field will be getting a new roof which will cost about $5,000.
