A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect through Thursday morning.
National Weather Service officials say four to six inches of snow is expected to fall in our area. Winds will pick up beginning Wednesday afternoon creating more hazardous driving conditions.
Lake effect snowfall is anticipated on Thursday which will continue to impact travel conditions.
Drivers are warned that roads will be snow-covered and slick. Blowing snow will reduce visibility and could lead to snow drifts causing road hazards.
