A winter weather advisory has been issued for the area beginning at 4 p.m. ET today until 10 a.m. ET Thursday morning. The National Weather Service predicts 3-4 inches of snow with slightly higher amounts in some areas.
Roads will be snow-covered, slick and hazardous in the overnight hours and into the morning. Marshall County Emergency Management Agency Director Clyde Avery urges motorists to slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.
