Four people were arrested this week as a result of two drug investigations.
Undercover Narcotics Investigation Team (UNIT) officers, along with Bremen Police and Marshall County Sheriff’s Department officers, arrested 27-year-old Zachariah Schuh, of Tippecanoe, and 27-year-old Kali Schuh, of Etna Green, at a motel room in Bremen on Monday, Feb. 3 on felony drug charges. Police say a two-year-old child was removed from the premises as well.
Zachariah Schuh has preliminary charges of dealing in methamphetamine, dealing in a look-alike substance and dealing in a narcotic drug. Kali Schuh has a preliminary charge of dealing in a narcotic drug.
In a separate incident, UNIT Officers executed a search warrant at a home in the 1,000 block of North Michigan Street in Plymouth on Tuesday, Feb. 4, where police reportedly found over 10 ounces of marijuana and evidence of dealing in marijuana. Small children were also found inside the home, according to the report.
Police say 32-year-old Heather Pittman and 41-year-old Greg Brown were booked into the Marshall County Jail on preliminary charges dealing in marijuana and maintaining a common nuisance. They have since posted bond. The UNIT officers in this case were assisted by the Indiana State Police SWAT team, Plymouth Police Department and the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
