An additional Absentee Voter Board will be available during this year’s May Primary Election in Marshall County.
During this week’s Marshall County Election Board meeting, it was determined that there will be four Absentee Voter Boards instead of three. The additional board members will be able to help with the volume of mail-in absentee ballots and in-person absentee voting in the Clerk’s Office.
Additionally, Marshall County Election Board member Sean Surrisi will be limited in his duties on the boards as his wife is on the ballot as a candidate for judge. According to Clerk Deb VanDeMark, he will not be able to be part of the canvassing of votes or be in the Vote Centers on Primary Election Day.
