The Plymouth School Board members are anticipated to consider the superintendent’s contract tonight.
The proposed contract calls for an annual basic salary of $121,400 effective July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2022. The total value of the contract is about $162,000 which includes annuity, VEBA contribution, school board’s contribution to group health/dental/vision insurance premium, life insurance, gasoline allowance, and association memberships.
The contract also stipulates that Superintendent Andy Hartley will be evaluated by the school board and rated using the same categories applied to teachers and other administrators. The superintendent will be allowed 12 sick days, five personal days, 20 vacation days, and other recognized holiday breaks provided for all staff members in the school calendar.
The school board members will also consider the comparison report and receive 2019 transfer report, non-resident student admissions, donations, the cancellation of certain checks, new and revised policies and guidelines on the second reading, and adopt student transfer deadlines. An update on the construction of the Lincoln Junior High School will also be given by project officials.
Superintendent Hartley will also provide information to the board including legislative updates.
The Plymouth School Board will meet at 7 p.m. in the Administration Building at 611 Berkley Street in Plymouth.
