The Plymouth Community School Board members reviewed a policy concerning student transfers and deadlines.
The policy states the school board shall accept students for the 2020-2021 school year through May 27, 2021. The student capacity of grades one through eight is 325 with an unlimited number of students in grades nine through twelve.
The policy further states that if the total number of students requesting to transfer to the corporation exceeds the capacity per grade level established a lottery will be held at the next board meeting to determine the students to be recommended for acceptance after receipt of their application.
The policy is standard and is required by the state.
The school board approved the policy with a unanimous vote.
