Only one candidate filed a late campaign finance report in Marshall County.
The Marshall County Election Board members discussed the issue last week. Any Marshall County resident who was a candidate in the Municipal Election in 2019 needed to submit that annual report paperwork by Wednesday, Jan. 15 at noon. One candidate filed that paperwork two days late.
Clerk Deb VanDeMark commented that the person did pay the fine which was $50 per day the report is late.
