The bottom bleachers at the Triton High School main gym will be replaced.
Superintendent Jeremy Riffle said the replacement is due to wear and tear.
“They’re 50 years old and they’re showing a lot of wear and tear,” explained riffle. “The cost to repair those and get them up to compliance is about half the cost of what it would be just to replace those so through our bond money we are able to go ahead and take care of that now.”
The school board approved that action last week.
Bids are being collected now for the bleachers and the railing.
