College Goal Sunday is an opportunity to help future college students fill out the Free Application for Free Student Aid (FAFSA) form and the next session is set for this Sunday.
Students who attend the event with their parent or guardian should bring completed IRS 1040 tax returns, W-2 Forms and other income and benefits information. Students and parents are also encouraged to apply for their U.S. Department of Education Federal Student Aid IDs before coming to the event.
In order to be eligible for financial aid, the FAFSA must be filled out by April 15th.
Those seeking assistance during College Goal Sunday may go to Plymouth High School on Sunday, Feb. 23 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. to speak with financial aid experts there.
College Goal Sunday is a charitable collaboration involving the Indiana Student Financial Aid Association (ISFAA), in cooperation with the Indiana Commission for Higher Education. The program began in Indiana and is now available to students nationwide.
