Two races have developed in the Marshall County May Primary Election.
For Judge of Circuit Court, Incumbent Republican Curtis D. Palmer is challenged by Republican Janette Elaine Surrisi, while the Marshall County Council At-Large race has seven candidates looking to fill three available seats in the election. Those candidates include Republican incumbents Penny Lukenbill, James D. Masterson and Jon VanVactor and newly filed candidates Jesse Bohannon, Bill Githens, Tim Harman, and William Patterson.
Other uncontested races include Republicans Dean Colvin for Superior Court 2 Judge, Mike Burroughs for County Commissioner District 2, Kevin Overmyer for County Commissioner District 3, John R. Grolich for County Coroner, Angie Johnson Birchmeier for County Treasurer and Craig D. Cultice for County Surveyor.
Several candidates also filed for Precinct Committeemen and State Convention Delegate. Those names can be found below.
