Culver Community Schools may soon be getting new roofs. The school board discussed some potential projects during a work session Monday, according to Superintendent Karen Shuman.
“We need new roofs for the elementary and our high school, so we’re looking at that potential project and how we would finance that project,” she says.
Some other projects are also up for consideration, depending on the school corporation’s bonding capacity. Shuman says that was discussed during a presentation to the board of finance Monday, and the school board approved the use of Ice Miller as bond counsel during its regular meeting.
Residents will have a chance to weigh in on the proposed projects and financial arrangements during a public hearing in February.
