The John Glenn School Board members considered a resolution to move some money within the budget, according to Superintendent Christopher Winchell.
“We moved $150,000 from the Operations Fund to the Rainy Day Fund,” stated Winchell. “We also approved some resolutions to clean up appropriations so we can close out the 2019 financial books.”
Winchell added that Business Manager Tom Bendy received the 1782 budget notice and the budget for 2020 was approved as submitted with no adjustments.
Bendy also completed an audit with state officials.
“We were very happy with the audit results. It’s the cleanest audit I’ve ever been a part of as a superintendent so my hats off and accolades to the business office.”
Winchell said that audit report will be released to the public once it is released to the school.
