Culver Community Schools students will start school a little later in August, but they’ll get a shorter spring break in 2021. Superintendent Karen Shuman says the 2020-2021 school calendar calls for a student start date of August 12.
“Spring break is reduced to two long weekends with a full week between those, instead of two solid weeks, which is what allowed us to do a later start in August and still be able to get out before June,” she explains.
Shuman says the school board approved the 2020-2021 school calendar during Monday’s meeting.
