Triton Scholars Spent Sunday Spreading Christmas Cheer to Elderly Community

A group of Triton students spent their Sunday living out the ‘Trojan Way’ of thinking of others over self with a special Christmas-related service project.

Superintendent Jeremy Riffle shared some details about what transpired.

According to Riffle, Wrestling Coach Matt Arvesen and his wife Sarrah planned a service day where Trojan wrestlers wrapped presents for senior citizens at the Miller’s Merry Manor assisted living facility in Plymouth.

Young students also packed up treat bags that were later distributed to residents.

In addition to visiting Miller’s Merry Manor, the scholars had the opportunity to once again visit 103-year-old Mary Phillips at the Autumn Trace senior community. They had previously paid her a visit during the Triton Gives Back Day on September 20th.

Superintendent Riffle thanked the students who gave their time to make the holiday a little brighter for the residents at these facilities.
