Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Dealing Arrest

A Bourbon man was arrested on Saturday following a traffic stop.

According to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, a vehicle driven by 34-year-old Cheyne Stouder was pulled over by police in the area of U.S. 30 and Hawthorn Road in Marshall County.  A subsequent investigation reportedly uncovered suspected marijuana, illegal psilocybin mushrooms, controlled substances, and drug equipment.

While being strip-searched at the Marshall County Jail, officers allegedly found Stouder in possession of suspected LSD, as indicated in the report. 

Stouder was booked on preliminary charges of dealing in a schedule I, II or III controlled substance greater than 28 grams, dealing in marijuana or 3 controlled substance greater than 30 grams but less than 10 pounds, and possession of a controlled substance and marijuana. 

Suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
