The Plymouth School Board will finish preparing for the end of the year tonight. A resolution letting the corporation treasurer pre-write checks for pending 2019 invoices and transfer money to balance out the accounts will be up for the board’s approval. Board members will also schedule their first meeting in 2020.
In other business tonight, the Plymouth School Board will get a transportation update, as well as an update on the 2020 legislative session. Lawmakers returning to the Statehouse for Organization Day last month were greeted by thousands of teachers and others rallying in support of public education.
The school board will also get an update on the construction of the new Lincoln Junior High School. Tonight’s Plymouth School Board meeting starts at 7:00 in the Plymouth Schools Administration Building.
