The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members plan to open bids for the 2020 fuel supplies and street materials when they meet tonight. In addition, a bid will be awarded for the 2019 street and sidewalk Community Crossings Matching Grant projects.
Department heads will also provide reports to the board members.
The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety will meet at 6 p.m. tonight followed by the Plymouth City Council meeting.
The city council members will hold a public hearing concerning additional appropriations. Also, they will hold the second and third readings of an ordinance amending the fuel pricing policy for the Department of Aviation.
Several resolutions will be considered. A resolution declaring certain real estate to be within a certain Economic Revitalization Area will be presented for 2400 Walter Glaub, LLC, as well as a resolution regarding paramedic assist services and another for additional appropriations.
Both meetings will be held in the second floor city council chambers room in the Plymouth City Building at 124 N. Michigan Street. Those interested in attending the meeting should enter the building through the Garro Street entrance.
