The Bremen Town Council members reviewed several annual contracts and agreements on Monday afternoon.
A janitorial contract was renewed which includes the two-percent increase that was approved for all employees in the 2020 budget. Clerk-Treasurer Janet Anglemyer said the monthly increase would be $37.23 with the annual total of $446.76 to be added to last year’s pay.
An agreement with German Township for fire protection service was up for renewal in the amount of $30,000. Anglemyer noted that the township pays half the amount in two installments.
Additionally, an agreement with the Bremen Chamber of Commerce was presented. The town pays $10,000 annually to the Chamber of Commerce which is explained in the agreement.
The Bremen Town Council members approved all contracts and agreements as presented. More will come during the town council’s next meeting on Monday, Dec. 30 at 4:30 p.m. at Bremen Town Hall.
