A Bremen man was arrested on drug charges on Friday, Dec. 20 following a traffic stop.
According to the Bremen Police Department, an officer pulled over a vehicle driven by 28-year-old James Egenlauf shortly after 8 p.m. for improper headlights. Officers conducted a search of the vehicle and reportedly found approximately 13 pounds of marijuana, 99 THC cartridges, 42 live resin lifted extract containers, 10 medicated THC “nerd ropes”, along with $2,629 in U.S. currency.
Egenlauf was taken to the Marshall County Jail and booked on preliminary charges of dealing in marijuana, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. He remains in the Marshall County Jail with a cash bond of $20,005.
Suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
