The Bremen Volunteer Fire Department is once again teaming up with local businesses to collect toys to give to families in need this Christmas season.
Every year, the Department hosts ‘Project Santa’, a town-wide toy drive intended to assist local parents and guardians in Bremen and German Township who need a little extra help providing presents for their children.
Around 20 different spots around town have collection boxes this year including Bremen Town Hall, Lutheran EMS, Bremen Community Hospital and the Bremen VFW. Toys and monetary donations can also be dropped off at the fire station between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Anyone who would like the opportunity to receive gifts must fill out the 2019 Project Santa application and turn in no later than Monday, December 16th to be considered. The application asks for some background information and must be filled out completely and honestly.
The apps can be picked up and turned in at the Bremen Police Department or Baker Insurance Agency and it can also be accessed on the Fire Department’s website.
The presents will be delivered the morning of Saturday, December 21st and at least one adult must be present to receive the items.
All participating drop-off locations and the Project Santa application can be found at bremenfire.org. If you have any questions, call the Bremen FD at 574-546-3660.
