An Argos man is facing a felony battery charge after being arrested by local police on Wednesday.
According to authorities, the Marshall County and Argos Police officers responded to a call for a domestic disturbance at a residence on Juniper Road shortly after 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 18th.

After an investigation, it was determined that 26-year-old Travis Whaley had allegedly battered his significant other in the presence of their child who is under 16-years-old.
He was lodged in the Marshall County Jail for the Level 6 Felony of Domestic Battery in the presence of a minor. He was given a cash bond of $1,500.
