Argos residents and business owners who would like a shot at winning a prize during the annual Christmas Light Decorating Contest should have their buildings decked out with lights and decorations by tomorrow!
Judging will run from Saturday, December 6th through Saturday, December 14th. Clerk-Treasurer Lisa Mulaney previously shared that in order to help eliminate any chance of potential bias, an impartial judge who does not reside within Argos makes the determination.
Residences and businesses are judged in separate categories and a total of six winners will be selected. 3rd place winners in each category will receive $50, second place winners will get $100 and the winning home owner and business will each be awarded $200.
The winners of the contest will be announced at the Argos Town Council’s second meeting of the month on Wednesday, December 18th.
