Variety of Triton Scholars Work Together to Provide Food for Malnourished Children

A recent effort by Triton scholars will help feed nearly 200 under-resourced children for an entire year.

On Thursday, November 7th sixth-grade students, FFA members and members of the “Senior Squad”, took part in a packing event for the organization ‘Feed My Starving Children.’ This program provides food to malnourished children all over the world.

Superintendent Jeremy Riffle reports that around 130 students participated and in just two hours, they were able to pack 336 boxes. Those boxes were filled with a total of 72,576 meals which will help feed 198 children for a year.
