Today is the Final Day You Can Donate to Neighborhood Center Thanksgiving Baskets

The Marshall County Neighborhood Center plans to provide more than 100 Thanksgiving baskets to families and senior citizens this year and they need your help!

Today is the last day citizens can provide donations for the Thanksgiving baskets.

The regular baskets will include 1 turkey, a bag of potatoes or mashed potatoes, cans of green beans, cans of cream of mushroom soup, cans of French fried onions, cans of corn and creamed corn, boxes of corn muffin mix, boxes of stuffing, jars of gravy, cranberry sauce, dinner rolls and desserts such as a pie or cake.

The senior/single-serve baskets will include precooked turkey breast, two sides, rolls and a dessert.

While donations for the Thanksgiving baskets are only being accepted through noon today, individuals are also welcome to provide items for the food pantry during regular business hours.

The Marshall County Neighborhood Center is normally open from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 9 a.m. until noon on Fridays.

While those are their typical hours, due to the Thanksgiving holiday they will be closing at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 23rd and will re-open for regular hours on Monday, December 2nd.
