A request was made to the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members to reconsider some provisions in the micro cell agreement.
Jeanine Xaver asked the board members to take another look at the original document that City Engineer Rick Gaul prepared that had more strict guidelines included, specifically placement. Xaver commented that in some instances the companies installing the five-foot poles with wide bases for upgraded cell service are placing them in yards in residential areas.
Councilman Jeff Houin asked for the request in an email and a copy of the agreement to be reviewed. The matter will likely be brought up in a future board meeting.
