The Bremen Town Council members took action last week to amend the unsafe building ordinance.
The amendment states that the Marshall County Unsafe Building Commission is designated as the hearing authority for the Town of Bremen, as explained by Town Attorney Anthony Wagner. Wagner previously said that it would be in the best interest of the town to have a representative on the Marshall County Unsafe Building Commission when dealing with the remediation and removal of unsafe buildings in the Town of Bremen.
That ordinance amendment was approved on second and third readings with a unanimous vote.
