A two vehicle accident that occurred near the intersection of US 30 and Fir Road Friday morning resulted in injuries according to the Marshall County Central Dispatch Center.
Officials report that the accident occurred around 9:45 a.m. One individual was transported by ambulance to South Bend Memorial Hospital and another individual was flown from the scene by Med Flight.
Both lanes were originally closed down to allow the helicopter land but the road has since been re-opened for passage.
Responding agencies included Marshall County EMS, the Tippecanoe, Bourbon, Bremen and Plymouth Fire Departments as well as the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department.
