LaPaz Woman Accused of Driving while Almost Three Times Legal Limit for Alcohol

A LaPaz woman was taken to jail Friday night, after police say she was driving while almost three times the legal limit for alcohol. Marshall County Police say they were called to the area of Michigan and 1st roads shortly before 11:30 p.m., for a vehicle that was off the roadway.

The driver, Manda Sue Albert, 62, was offered a field sobriety test and was later taken to the hospital for a chemical test, according to the police report. Albert was then taken to the Marshall County Jail on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated with a blood alcohol concentration of 0.15 percent or higher.
