The John Glenn School Board members held discussion this week surrounding the Red for Ed day at the Indiana Statehouse on Tuesday, Nov. 19.
During their meeting on Nov. 6, the John Glenn School Board members agreed with the Education Foundation representatives that closing school wouldn’t be convenient for parents and students. At the same time, they voiced support for the movement and supported a delegation of teachers for their trip down to Indianapolis.
This week, Superintendent Christopher Winchell told the school board that a delegation of 14 teachers from John Glenn went to Indianapolis for the movement, according to Recording Secretary Lisa Sleek.
