John Glenn Initiates Process toward E-Learning

Students at the John Glenn School Corporation will soon be able to utilize the E-Learning method of completing school work when school is closed for inclement weather or other purpose.

E-Learning days allow students to take part in classes and complete assignments online. A committee is meeting to go over logistics of getting the process initiated, according to Recording Secretary Lisa Sleek.

During the recent meeting of the John Glenn School Board, Superintendent Christopher Winchell asked the school board to approve a pre-planned E-Learning Day in the event that school is closed for inclement weather.

The board agreed to use President’s Day as an E-Learning Day if school is not in session for that reason.

Winchell and the committee will work toward planning for that day and update the board in future meetings.
