Argos Police Chief Corey Bowman was permitted buy some new pieces of equipment during Wednesday’s Town Council meeting.
Clerk-Treasurer Lisa Mullaney shared that Chief Bowman requested permission to purchase six new tasers. The associated cost came to $16,000.
Mullaney noted that the items will be purchased through a particular payment plan. She said the plan includes maintenance, batteries, cartridges and other necessary items for the tasers for five years.
