A quit claim deed for a property at Pond Park was presented to the Argos Town Council when members met for their final meeting of the month in October.
According to draft minutes from the meeting, the deed would transfer the property to the Argos Parks Department.
Town Attorney Derek Jones presented the document to the council for consideration. After holding a discussion about the matter, members unanimously approved a motion to transfer the property.
After the meeting, Attorney Jones was contacted and noted that the transfer was recommended by grant officials in order to assist the Parks Department with an applications process.
