Residents and business owners in the Town of Argos are encouraged to show off their holiday spirit during this year’s Christmas Decorating Contest.
Clerk-Treasurer Lisa Mullaney mentioned that residences and businesses will be judged separately but the top three winners will receive the same cash prizes. The third place prize is $50, the second place winners will get $100 and the first place prize is $200.
An impartial and neutral judge will make their way through town to take a look at the various decorations between Saturday, December 7th and Saturday, December 14th. The top three residences and top three businesses will be announced during the Town Council’s meeting on Wednesday, December 18th.
