Erica Partin will be joining the Argos Town Council following a decision made during Tuesday night’s Republican Party Caucus.
Partin and Thomas Kline Jr. were the only two candidates to file a declaration of candidacy by the deadline.
Republican Party Chair David Holmes noted that both individuals were great candidates who seemed motivated to help the Town.
According to Republican Party Vice Chair and County Clerk Deb Vandemark, the precinct committee members who voted to fill the vacancy were from Walnut 1 and Green Townships.
Partin was sworn in by Holmes before the caucus concluded. She is expected to join the rest of the Argos Town Council for her first meeting when members meet next on Wednesday, October 16th.
