One of the new election laws that went into effect on July 1 is a Certification of Ballot Agreement for Vote Center counties.
The Marshall County Election Board members took action on that document this week. Clerk Deb VanDeMark explained the agreement.
“Basically, this is saying that the Election Board has approved the ballot, we’ve done our testing of the ballot and the ballot is correct. We’re all supposed to sign this and then it has to go to each of the Vote Centers,” stated VanDeMark.
The board members signed the agreement as presented.
