Several documents concerning the adoption of the 2020 budget will be considered by the John Glenn School Board tonight

Resolutions involving the 2020 budget, the Capital Projects Plan and the Bus Replacement Plan are up for approval.  The school board members will also open a public hearing to review the Master Teacher Contract for this school year and another hearing to discuss additional appropriations.

A final bond resolution is on the agenda for approval for several capital projects planned at the corporation.  An upcoming bond sale is expected to generate $1.9 million for projects including the replacement of the chiller at the Walkerton Elementary School, paving and roofing repairs at John Glenn High School, Urey Middle School, Walkerton Elementary School, and North Liberty Elementary School, while work will be done on the Urey Middle School gymnasium floor. 

The four principals are also expected to give updates from their buildings when the John Glenn School Board meets tonight (Tuesday) at 7 p.m. in the John Glenn Administration Building on the campus of the high school.
