INDOT officials announced last week that the intersection of U.S. 30 and Plymouth-Goshen Trail will undergo a safety upgrade.
Beginning today, crews plan to close off the center median which will only allow right turns off of U.S. 30 to Plymouth-Goshen Trail. Barricades, pavement markings and signage will be included there to alert motorists of the change.
INDOT crews have been studying crash history in that area and came up with this temporary solution. A more permanent solution could be implemented next year which includes removal of pavement in that median.
