Marshall County Attorney Jim Clevenger will speak with Telemon representatives to resolve some unfinished areas in a contract to upgrade LED lighting in the county’s buildings.
The county commissioners signed a contract with Telemon last year to replace all of the fluorescent lighting in the county building, county highway garage and the courthouse with LED lighting. The lighting in the staircase exit signs in the County Building is not done along with some lighting at highway garage. The Circuit Court Courtroom is done, but completion is delayed in the Superior Court No.1 and Superior Court No. 2 courtrooms.
Clevenger told the commissioners this week that will research the contract and talk to Telemon officials about the issues. A timeframe of completion may be reached during conversations. If an agreement cannot be reached, an outside contractor may need to complete the work.
