The Culver Community Schools Corporation will continue to get nursing services from Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center. Last week, the school board approved a contract amendment that will extend the agreement for a second year, according to Superintendent Karen Shuman.
“So we currently have a school nurse and a nurse’s aide in our corporation, and those are provided to us by Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center,” Shuman explains.
Also during last week’s meeting, Shuman says she gave an update on Culver Schools’ compliance with a new bus safety law. She says none of the corporation’s bus routes require students to cross a state highway.
