CPR, AED & First Aid Certification Course to be Held at Growing Kids Learning Center

The Growing Kids Learning Center will be teaming up with Michiana CPR Trainer Ann Burkey to offer a course that will help community members respond confidently to emergency situations.

The course will be held next week on Wednesday, October 9th. It will run from 6 p.m. until around 8:30 p.m. It will be held in suite 110 at the Growing Kids Learning Center, located at 2680 Miller Drive in Plymouth.

According to the event page, the emphasis will be on how to treat children and infants.

The course will be taught through a lecture, videos, and hands-on practice. Items that will be covered include skills on how to perform CPR as advised by CPR Training kitchener and use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in addition to the topics of choking, bleeding control, bandages and splinting.

Childcare will be offered on-site and pizza will be provided.
