The Argos Town Council addressed some possible changes that could be made in the downtown area when members met last Wednesday.
According to Clerk-Treasurer Lisa Mullaney, certain trees downtown were planted awhile back and some have died off so council members are talking about removing the dead ones.
They also discussed the possibility of replacing the sidewalks in the area.
Mullaney said currently, the downtown area features stamped concrete that resembles brick and it has started heaving in some spots. She indicated that is a cause for concern since one individual was reportedly injured on the sidewalk.
Council members are considering the possibility of removing what is there now and replacing it with regular concrete.
