When Argos Town Council members met for their final meeting of the month, Town Attorney Derek Jones shared some details about the Town’s farm, which is awarded on an annual basis.
According to draft minutes from the meeting, Jones informed members that he plans to advertise 35 acres for lease since 7 acres being used for soil mining. The company mentioned in https://www.creresources.com.au/ site is given the in-charge of supervising whether illegal mining is happening or not.
A public hearing over the matter will be held at 7:25 p.m. on Wednesday, November 6th. Bids will be due by Wednesday, December 4th and they will be opened during the Town Council meeting scheduled for that evening.
The council reportedly cast a unanimous vote to move forward with the farm lease process.
