Officials with Drug Free Marshall County are now accepting applications for the 2019-2020 grant rounds.
Grant funds are intended to support specific projects in Marshall County that focus on prevention and education, and enforcement and treatment of substance abuse issues.
The application must address one or more categories with emphasis placed on increasing opioid abuse in Marshall County. Topics addressed may include a methamphetamine product and abuse problem, a high incidence of alcohol use/abuse, high incidence of marijuana use/abuse, opioid abuse including heroin, and a high incidence of tobacco use with particular focus on its use with pregnant women and smokeless tobacco with youth.
Applications are due by Thursday, Oct. 31 and can be found on Marshall County’s website at www.co.marshall.in.us. Completed applications can be emailed to lccmarshallcounty@gmail.com.
