The rehabilitation of the north water tower on Parkview Street in Plymouth is ongoing.
Utility Superintendent Donnie Davidson told the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members Monday night that fabrication and welding are done. It all passed inspection on Friday, Sept. 6.
Davidson said painters were on scene at the tower on Monday to start sandblasting the interior of the water tower to prep it for painting. The outer portion of the water tower was also being prepped for a coating of paint.
Davidson said the project has a 40-day time limit and everything seems to be on schedule and going smoothly.
