Officials working on financing documents with Winona Building Products recently met with Plymouth City Attorney Sean Surrisi and Marshall County Economic Development Corporation President and CEO Jerry Chavez concerning where things stand in the process.
Surrisi told the Plymouth Redevelopment Commission members Tuesday night that new market tax credits have been secured and the paperwork is being prepared to present to the Plymouth Economic Development Commission along with a bond ordinance to the Plymouth Council in the matter. The Redevelopment Commission members will need to hold a public hearing concerning TIF bond financing which could be in October.
Winona Building Products, LLC officials are planning to upgrade the plant at 506 North Street that formerly housed Del Monte to support more than four manufacturing lines by 2022. Winona Building Products, LLC offers high-quality insulation facings and vapor retarders.
