Plymouth School Board Receives Progress Report about New Lincoln Jr. High School

An update about the Lincoln Junior High School building project was provided to the Plymouth School Board when members met Tuesday night.

Superintendent Andy Hartley informed board members that the project is still on schedule.

According to a construction progress report that was provided to school officials, work that’s expected to occur over the next four weeks includes the continuation of installing exterior brick around the building and the installation of interior masonry walls.

Crews will be completing certain roof units, installing ceiling panels in the gym and starting metal stud walls in the administration area. They’re also expected to begin painting in the two-story classroom and will start ceramic tiling in the bathrooms.

Additionally, crews will continue working on electrical rough-ins of masonry walls and overhead rough-ins for the two-story classroom as well as mechanical work in the boiler room and HVAC work in particular mezzanine units.
